(January 25, 2021 – Hong Kong) Following the success of last year’s competition, Great Eagle Group sponsors HKGCC Business Case Competition once again, where tertiary students have a chance to unleash their creativity to solve different business cases, exchange ideas and gain insights in the process. The competition saw an overwhelming response with nearly 900 tertiary students from Hong Kong to participate, with 35 proposals submitted for Great Eagle’s challenge. The competition was successfully concluded on 22 January 2021, where top three teams were ranked by a panel of judges.

The business case set by Great Eagle Group this year is “Property Development in Future Climate”. Students have to design a new property development that is resilient and responsive to climate change, and function well by meeting the needs of different lifestyles in Hong Kong in 10 years’ time. The proposal has to include the application of new technologies, also be sustainable and scalable over a long period of time.

We see climate change as a real and serious issue and it has been causing global challenges, our business case allows students to identify key problems that the development may have in the face of climate change, and propose solution with a vision to build a sustainable future.’
